va-Q-tec receives award from Mainfränkische Werkstätten for its inclusion work

Success comes from people and every person is unique. That is why the trust, motivation and individual development opportunities of employees are of particular importance to va-Q-tec. We are convinced that success comes from a diverse team and good working conditions.

For this reason, va-Q-tec is particularly pleased to receive an award from the Mainfränkische Werkstätten, represented by Marilena Krieger (Head of Inclusive! Working Together), Dieter Körber (Managing Director of the Mainfränkische Werkstätten), Daniel Bils (Integration Support) and Dr Lukas Kargerbauer (IHK), for the inclusion work carried out at the Würzburg site.

The cooperation with the Mainfränkische Werkstätten has intensified significantly in recent years: from production to the va-Q-honey project.

With an engraved part of a railway track, symbolic of the way in which people with disabilities are integrated into everyday working life, the Mainfränkische Werkstätten awards companies in the region that create cooperation in the form of an outside job for an employee of the Mainfränkische Werkstätten. The award is a sign that va-Q-tec is actively involved in the integration of people with disabilities together with the Mainfränkische Werkstätten. The goal of the Mainfränkische Werkstätten is to award as many tracks as possible so that inclusion is made possible and visible everywhere.

Dr Joachim Kuhn, CEO and founder of va-Q-tec, is particularly proud of this award: “Our employees make a significant contribution to the success of va-Q-tec – everyone with their work, whether in production or administration. Without them we would not be where we are today. That is why I am particularly pleased with this award and would like to take this opportunity to thank all our employees for their commitment and their work.”
