va-Q-tec continues the close cooperation with Würzburg University

va-Q-tec fosters a new position for a research assistant, respectively a PhD position, who will work at the Chairs of Prof. Pibernik and Prof. Flath at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. Prof. Dr. Richard Pibernik’s research is primary focused on quantitative methods for supply chain and logistics management with a current emphasis on a data-driven approach. Prof. Dr. Christoph M. Flath has been holding the Chair for business informatics and information management at the business administration institute since April 2018. The partnership will continue the close relationship between va-Q-tec and Würzburg university. The goal is to promote artificial intelligence and the creation of innovative methods to manage the complex logistics processes and the size and flows of va-Q-tec’s global container fleet.
