va-Q-tec continues to support the worldwide efforts to fight the Coronavirus. 726,000 Corona test kits were shipped in va-Q-tainers to Brazil. The transport from Seoul via Frankfurt to São Paulo took two days. The container had to maintain the temperature constantly between -15 °C and -25 °C without using dry ice.
Especially in Brazil, universities and research institutes expect an extremely high number of unreported infections. Therefore, test kits are urgently needed and a further delivery of over 550,000 tests is expected in the next few days. The state government forecasts the import of an additional 1 million test kits to expand the diagnostic capacity.
