As a part of the national German IJF – Young Researcher & Scientist Initiative, two different school classes came to visit va-Q-tec. The visits included a tour and a presentation about the company and gave the students insight into some of the core principals, production and the applications of vacuum insulation panels. va-q-tec is in cooperation with IJF looking to promote students interest in the STEM fields which includes; science, technology, mathematics and engineering (in German referred to as MINT). By engaging the students and teaching them about scientific principles that are applied in real life at an early age the goal is to foster more careers in science in the future.
