Characteristics | |
The vacuum insulation panel va-Q-vip B is officially certified with approval No. Z-23.11-1658 from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBT) on 21 June 2007. The core of the panel consists of a amorphous silicon dioxide powder and an inorganic opacifier. The panel is sealed under vacuum into a metallized high barrier film. The high barrier film is again covered on the exterior with a black protection fleece. The flammability of va-Q-vip B is according to DIN 4102-B2.va-Q-tec´s panels are characterized by their speical film folding technology (va-Q-seam) at the edges. Individual panels therefore can be placed together practically gapless. Other shapes are possible on request. As a check of the internal gas pressure, a sensor chip is integrated into each panel. | ![]() |
Applications | |
va-Q-vip B is specially developed for building insulation applications. The va-Q-vip B with a drastically reduced insulation thickness enable new possibilities in building insulation. va-Q-vip B has currently approved again and va-Q-tec´s panel can be used the widest field (DAD, DAA, DZ, DI, DEO, WAB, WH and WI accoridng to the standard DIN V 4108-10, table 1) in building application (Internal and external insulation, wall, floor, roof etc.). | ![]() |
